L3AXB: cross-level three-paths of an A-tie, an X-tie and a B-tie, the sum over X-ties of the A-degree of their A end times the B-degree of their B end. For two-level (multilevel) networks, as MPNet (Wang et al. 2013): the levels are the values of the vertex attribute attr, A and B (levels=(A, B), or the attribute’s two values, sorted); A-ties are within A, B-ties within B, X-ties between them.
