Number of 2-stars centred on second-mode vertices whose two first-mode ends have the same value of attr (Bomiriya et al. 2023), by value with diff=TRUE and by value of the centres’ byb2attr. beta < 1 discounts each tie’s two-stars, half their number to the power beta; alpha < 1 counts each pair of matching ends’ shared partners to the power alpha.
